Cashew with Browned Icing

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup sour cream
2 cups salted cashews

Cream brown sugar and . Add egg and vanilla and beat well. Add sifted flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt alternately with sour cream. Mix well. Carefully fold in cashews. Drop by teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool and frost.

Frosting
1/2 cup
3 tablespoons evaporated milk
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cashew

Lightly brown in saucepan; remove from heat and add sugar and evaporated milk. Stir in vanilla extract. Frost . Put 1 cashew on top of each cookie.

Makes 3 dozen.
